We are located about one mile off Hwy 1457 between Shelby and Round Top at 10900 Mayer Cemetery Road just past the Burkhardt cemetery. This is a gravel road. When you pass the Burkhardt Cemetery sign on the left, make the bend in the road. On the right is a white board fence entry. TRAILS WEST RETREAT is across the road on the left.The corner of our property is at Muske-Ulrich Road.

DIRECTIONS:

From the West (Austin) on HWY 290 by way of Round Top. Between Carmine and Burton take a right on Hwy 237 to Round Top. At light on square, take a left and you will go straight to Henkel Square. Take a left on Hwy 1457 toward Shelby. Go 4 miles. Take a left on Mayer Cemetery Rd (gravel). Go 1 mile, pass Burkhardt Cemetery. Immediately around the curve you will see our entrance. It is across from a white board entry.

From La Grange Hwy 71 turn on Fm 237 to Round Top. Turn right on the square at the light, left onto FM 1457 and follow above directions.

From Houston area take Interstate 10 to Sealy. Take the Hwy 36 exit to Bellville. From Bellville, take HWY 159 W through Industry. 3 miles west of Industry, Hwy 1457 turns right to Shelby. Go 3 miles past Shelby and turn right on Mayer Cemetery Rd.

From Brenham: Take FM 389 (Blinn College exit off Loop 290) southwest.  Go 13 miles to Shelby. Turn right on FM 1457 and go 3 miles to Mayer Cemetery Rd. Turn right, go 1.3 miles.

From San Antonio: Take I 10 to Schulenburg. Go N on 77 to Lagrange. Turn right at the loop onto 71 and then take FM 237 to Round Top. Follow above directions.

From Austin for the Adventurous traveler who loves back roads. OK if you get lost don't blame me but the scenery during the day is gorgeous! From Hwy 290 at Burton, go west 1 mile to a left on FM 2502. Go about 4 miles to Greenvine. Don't blink! Two churches and a general store. Turn right on Wickel Road. Go about 2 miles. Take a left on Mayer Cemetery and go about 3 miles, over hills, through valleys, across creek bridges, past Mayer Cemetery. When you reach Ullrich Muske Rd to the right, you have come to the corner of Trails West. Continue until you cross the creek and our entry will be on the right. Good Luck!
